Plan Seeks 100 Pct Renewable Energy in Australia in Ten Year

By Robert Kropp, SocialFunds.com -- FITZROY, Australia — The tipping point for climate change, after which many of its most destructive effects will become irreversible, strongly suggests that atmospheric CO2 must be reduced from its current level of 390 ppm to "well below 350 ppm‚ significantly closer to pre-industrial concentrations of 285 ppm," according to a recent report by Beyond Zero Emissions, an Australian nonprofit organization.

To achieve such reductions, however, it will be necessary for the US to reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to zero within ten years. Because "Australia has about the same per-capita emissions as the USA," according to the report, it too would have to pursue the same goal.

The report, entitled Zero Carbon Australia Stationary Energy Plan, "outlines a technically feasible and ...

Unfortunately the US is not doing enough to reduce its carbon emissions. Congress won't touch the cap and trade bill. We are approaching the tipping point at 390 ppm CO2 when damage will be irreversible. We are in a canoe approaching the falls, and no one wants to row.

Australia could actually cover their Outback with solar panels. That would work...

We've had the "War on Drugs" about 40 years, and anyone who owns Pfizer knows the drugs are winning!

It's gotten to the point where the "send them to Death Row early and often" Harris County prosecutors can't find enough people on a jury pool who would vote to convict someone using medical marijuana of illegal possession.

Too much money being made by the police-industrial complex to turn back now.

The Australians say they can do it for $370 billion (article didn't say AUD or USD). Or to put it another way, about half of an Obama stimulus. And they expect to save money once they finish the conversion.

Wheels of "Global Warming" bandwagon are falling apart. People had enough nonsense from politicians past thirty years and get ripped off. Try something new slogan or new approach. Mother nature has its own agenda and its own course. Stop making profit by writing books and theories.
